We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of Thai cooking ingredients and standards. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality meals that meet our guests' expectations while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.• Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes, including signature dishes like Pad Thai, Pad Kra Prao, Yellow Curry, Panang Curry, Khao Soi, and Massaman Curry, using traditional Thai cooking techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
  • Work with a team of chefs to ensure high standards of quality, flavor, and presentation are maintained at all times.
  • Assist in daily planning, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
  • Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Work quickly and effectively with assigned dishes and ensure that recipes are followed exactly.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Thai cuisine with Wok skills Strong understanding of Thai flavor profiles (balancing sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy).
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
  • Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
