Job summary

Upstate in New York is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist the surgical team, describe anatomy and steps for procedures, and transport patients. You will maintain sterile technique and collaborate with OR staff to ensure patient safety.

The role supports teaching and mentoring, fosters open communication, and contributes to professional development. Candidates should be eligible for AST certification or meet AST experience requirements; certification pathway completion is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be eligible for certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists through the completion of a formal certificate or degree program in Surgical Technology.
• Alternatively meet the Association of Surgical Technologists experience requirements (preferred).
• Experience in AST requirements is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Be eligible for certification by Association of Surgical Technologists through the completion of a formal certificate or degree program in Surgical Technology or by meeting the Association of Surgical Technologists experience requirements preferred.

Work Days:

Full-Time (40 hours per week),Monday-Friday days/evenings/nights with weekends and holidays per unit needs w/ call responsibility.
