Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a TFS scheduling support role to help develop resource loaded and levelized work schedules, manage outages data entry, and coordinate with project teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management
• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field
• High school diploma, Vocational training and 4 years’ utility field experience

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated resource loaded and levelized TFS work schedules
• Comply with the Outage Coordination Procedure and all RTO guidelines
• Participate in meetings with project, outage, construction, maintenance, operations and commissioning groups
• Enter outages into TOA or its successor database
• Coordinate outage meetings and support outage coordination
• Coordinate changes to the work schedule when an outage is canceled or rescheduled
• Develop, review and present statistical reports on scheduling and crew utilization
• Coordinate with other sections covering scheduling, staffing and outages
• Foster safety, professionalism and teamwork in planning and scheduling techniques
• Perform duties in compliance with company safety policies
