Note: Excellent customer service skills are essential. Full-time positions are available. Please inform us of your availability. The schedule requires availability across all 7 days, with day shifts.

Our Retail Centers operate from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Pay: $16.15/hr. Your pay may increase based on textile production. This position is eligible for Daily Pay, allowing you to work today and get paid today. Full-Time employees are eligible for benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and voluntary benefits. Employees can contribute to retirement plans, and Goodwill of Colorado is a PSLF eligible employer.

Job Summary:

The Associate I, Textiles Production, primarily sorts, hangs, prices, and tags donated textiles, following quality standards to determine what is placed on the sales floor. The role may involve customer interactions and providing excellent service.

Essential Functions:

  1. Sort textiles by season, color, and quality.
  2. Inspect textiles for saleable condition.
  3. Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare items for sale.
  4. Price items according to standards, researching value as needed.
  5. Provide excellent customer service and respond to product questions.
  6. Follow retail policies and safety procedures.
  7. Cross-train in other departments as needed.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  9. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of retail experience preferred. Must have attention to detail, good judgment, and ability to use basic technology. Ability to operate a dolly and pallet jack. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime. Effective communication skills are required.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands include frequent lifting, carrying, reaching, twisting, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, and standing. Visual and auditory functions are continuously required. Repetitive hand movements are continuous. The role involves walking frequently and standing continuously.
