Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is hiring a Textile Sorter to process and sort donated textiles, maintain a safe production area, and keep the workspace clean and presentable. The role requires following company principles and standards while handling stock and linens.

The candidate should be able to stand for long periods, react calmly in emergencies, and follow directions. Training and routine duties will be performed under Team Leaders' supervision.

Qualifications

• Adhere to Core Principles.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to react calmly and respond to emergency situations.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of linen brands and varieties.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated textiles and place non-sellable items into outlet containers.
• Sort donated textiles and place non-seasonal back stock items in back stock boxes.
• Keep production area clean, neat, and safe.
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and dress code including name badge.
• Attend in-service and related training as assigned by Team Leader.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Production Leader.
