Job summary

Maharam, a leading textiles company, seeks a QA support role across its three brands. You will investigate quality claims, enter replacement orders, issue credits, and maintain the QA library.

You’ll also handle returns, process Charge Backs, and support inspection and documentation to uphold standards. The role reports to the QA Supervisor and involves collaboration with internal teams, clients, and contractors.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in textiles preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work with internal staff and clients.
  • Experience with QA processes and maintaining QA library.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Collect all data and documentation to analyze quality related claims across all textile brands.
  • Collaborate with internal staff, sales and resources to resolve issues not meeting standards.
  • Enter replacement orders and follow up to ensure inspection.
  • Process Charge Backs and batch to Accounting.
  • Process returns authorizations including documents, call tags, and pick-up requests.
  • Issue credit memos to clients.
  • Assist inspection for new receipts against established standards - lot Control.
  • Maintain QA library for approved standards and memos for all products.
  • Manage cuttings and spreadsheets for Underwriters Laboratory recognition program.
  • Review commercial matches utilizing a light box.
  • Enter and monitor all JIRA requests that warrant QA assistance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

A support role on our Quality Assurance team across our three textiles brands. MAGNITUDE AND RELATIONSHIP REPORTING:
  • This position will report to the QA Supervisor.
CONTACTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION:

This position typically has contact with all employees at all levels of the organization internally. It also has direct contact with resource personnel, clients, and contractors.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Basic knowledge of textiles with the ability to recognize color and differentiate shades, inherent nuances a plus.
  • Cut, weigh and record fabric swatches
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Handle claims resolutions efficiently with strong follow-up skills
  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of MS Office specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to understand internal QA Procedures
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • An associate’s degree in textiles is preferred
  • High school diploma required

Compensation range for this role is $20.27 - $26.70. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
