Job summary

Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking an Apparel Textile Processor to prepare and price donated apparel. You will sort, price, and hang items, ensuring quality standards while recognizing brand names and labels for accurate pricing.

You’ll inspect for defects, maintain a high throughput, and keep work areas clean and organized, following safety and policy guidelines. A team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to identify clothing brands and quality (training provided).
• Basic math and pricing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with donors and shoppers.
• Sort, price, and hang donated apparel and textiles.
• Recognize brand names, designer labels, and quality to ensure accurate pricing.
• Inspect clothing for stains, tears, missing buttons, or defects before placing on the sales floor.
• Maintain production goals of 80+ pieces per hour and ensure efficient processing.
• Keep processing and sorting areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with apparel rotation, dressing room upkeep, and merchandise placement as needed.
• Follow all Goodwill safety, security, and operational policies.
