Responsibilities include reviewing the run schedule with the operator, wrapping first quality rolls on offline wrapping machines, using a double-pole forklift to move rolls, placing scrap rolls in skid pans, and assisting with doffing when

Qualifications

• Basic written, communication and math skills.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
• Forklift experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review the run schedule with the operator and stage upcoming rolls.
• Wrap first quality rolls using offline wrapping machines.
• Use a double-pole forklift to move finished rolls from the doff table.
• Cradle the rolls from underneath with the forklift.
• Put scrap rolls in the skid pans next to the machine.
• Move rolls in the hold area to the appropriate location.
• Assist with doffing when necessary.
• Monitor tape strips at the winder and tear more when low.
• Retrieve required tubes at the machine and ensure they do not run out.
• Move tubes no longer needed away from the take-up area.
