Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is seeking a Production Team Leader to supervise textile and hard goods production, ensure quotas are met, and develop staff. Responsibilities include training processors, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with team leadership to optimize operations across the backroom.

You will monitor quality and inventory, while promoting donor-first service. Qualifications include at least three years in a supervisory role, knowledge of textiles and inventory control,

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
• Prefer retail and/or stock handling experience.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities and/or Goodwill experience preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License and forklift certification (special conditions)

Responsibilities

• Supervise textile and hard goods production and shipping.
• Meet production quotas and monitor quality.
• Train and develop processors to ensure excellent donor service.
• Coordinate with Team Leader/Assistant Team Leader to meet monthly quotas.
• Ensure compliance with CPSC procedures and hazmat handling.
• Maintain 5S standards and Kaizen for housekeeping and safety.
• Update production whiteboard daily for accurate reporting.
• Oversee equipment like forklift, stacker, baler to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure merchandise is moved to the sales floor in a timely manner.
