Job summary

Alsco is hiring a Feeder/Folder in Los Angeles to manually handle textiles, including folding and feeding into finishing equipment. The role requires sorting by quality and size, following packing instructions, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area.

The position offers full-time hours with a base pay of $19.15 per hour and a benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off. Candidates must meet safety standards and be able to stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
• Able to comprehend and follow written packing instructions.
• Able to comprehend and follow directions.
• Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Grasp textiles from a cart/bin, sort, inspect and grade according to quality standards.
• Fold, assemble and package textiles by hand.
• Feed textiles into ironers or folding machines.
• Place finished product onto conveyors or into carts; move carts/bins within the production area.
• Process textiles according to packing instructions.
• Maintain efficient and safe work practices; keep area neat and clean.
