Job summary

Valley Forge Fabrics, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an entry-level Textile Design & Print Administrator to support our textile design team.

This in-office role requires collaboration with the Senior Textile Designer on pattern development, recolors, CAD work, sample reviews, trend research, and product development. You'll create colorways and presentation materials, manage design files, review lab dips for accuracy, document pattern repeats, and assist with customer-specific design requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in textile design, graphic design, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of woven and printed textile collections.
• Create colorways, pattern revisions, and presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare and maintain design files, artwork libraries, and project documentation.
• Assist with reviewing strike-offs, handlooms, samples, and lab dips for accuracy.
• Measure and document pattern repeats, specifications, and product details.
• Conduct design and trend research to support new collection development.
• Organize and maintain fabric samples, design archives, and showroom materials.
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Project Management teams to support product development initiatives.
• Assist with customer-specific design requests and presentation materials.
• Support data entry and product setup within internal systems.
• Participate in design reviews and product development meetings.

The companyis seeking an entry-level, creative, organized, and detail-oriented Textile Design & Print Administrator to support our Textile Design team.

Works closely with the Senior Textile Designer to assist with pattern development, recolors, CAD work, sample reviews, trend research, and product development projects. Requires a strong eye for design, working in a fast-paced environment, and ability to learn the technical aspects of textile development.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, Fashion Textiles, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in textile design, graphic design, or a related creative field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or coursework related to textile design.
• Experience working with patterns, repeats, and color development.
• Familiarity with textile CAD software such as NedGraphics.
• Knowledge of hospitality, commercial interiors, or home furnishings markets.
