Job summary

Stand Out For Good, Inc. is seeking a creative Textile Design Intern to join our Orange County Design Studio. You will collaborate with the design team on prints, colorways, and production-ready artwork for upcoming collections.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or recently completed a Fashion or Apparel Design degree, proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and comfortable sketching by hand or digitally. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or Apparel Design.
• Proficiency in hand or digital sketching.
• Familiarity with design software including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Basic knowledge of fibers and fabrics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with good aesthetics.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stay up-to-date with print and art trends and conduct market research.
• Create prints, plaids, embroideries, graphics, and other artworks.
• Prepare artwork for production with color callouts and vendor handoff.
• Use Photoshop and Illustrator to create production-ready artwork.
• Create original textile prints, recolors, and scalable repeats.
• Assist in choosing colors and building seasonal color palettes.
• Collaborate with the design team on artwork needs.
• Produce tech packs including sketches, details, and sewing instructions.
• Participate in fittings and evaluate fit with adjustments as needed.
• Maintain organized design records and samples.
