W. L. Gore & Associates in Elkton, MD is seeking a Textile Colorist to provide color expertise for the SITKA and GORE‑TEX product portfolio. You will ensure robust shade quality, collaborate with CAD and Fabric teams, and manage color standards across seasonal palettes to meet development milestones.

The role requires strong color acuity, excellent communication, and project management skills, with a hybrid work arrangement at Gore’s Elkton facility. Travel up to 5% is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Textile Science, Fashion or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in color development.
• Superior rating on Farnsworth Munsell 100 hue test.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and color evaluation.
• Experience reviewing lab dips and color submissions.
• Proficiency with Outlook, PLM platforms, IQ color systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsabilidades

• Provide accurate color analysis from sample development to bulk production
• Collaborate with CAD and Fabric teams on print colors, layout and strike-off comments
• Maintain accurate approval records to monitor fabrications and color consistency
• Communicate approvals, corrections and rejections within calendar timelines to vendors and overseas factories
• Maintain seasonal color reference library for lap dips and bulk swatches
• Support daily shade lab activities such as Production Shade Testing and Visual Review
• Liaise with customers and suppliers
• Onboard new customers and new vendors
• Cross functional interaction with IS, Planning, QA, sourcing, PDM
