Job summary

Ector County ISD is seeking a Warehouse Receiving-Instructional Materials to manage storage and distribution of textbooks and workbooks in Odessa, TX. You will receive and inventory state-allocated materials and fill school orders with accuracy.

Responsibilities include processing orders, delivering texts, maintaining inventories, and coordinating with district staff; forklift experience preferred. Position requires lifting up to 80 lbs and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Forklift Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill textbook and workbook orders from principals and central office.
• Deliver books to proper locations.
• Act as central receiving agent for all incoming textbooks and workbooks.
• Maintain an inventory of textbooks and workbooks in the district.
• Assist the District Instructional Materials Manager with TEA reports and state textbook requisitions.
• Receive, inventory and disseminate annual textbook orders.
• Interact with district personnel to maintain cooperation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Fulfill other duties assigned by Textbook Coordinator.
