Job summary

AECOM seeks a Construction Project Management Manager to lead and grow construction management for transportation infrastructure projects across Texas. This role targets an experienced leader with TxDOT/Area Engineer background to mentor teams and deliver complex public-sector projects.

The successful candidate will guide QA/QC, manage staffing and performance, cultivate client relationships with TxDOT and municipalities, and contribute to proposals and business development while representing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education.
• PE license in Texas preferred.
• Experience leading construction management teams on major transportation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Texas transportation project delivery practices.
• Willingness to travel throughout Texas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management and project delivery activities for major transportation projects across Texas.
• Provide senior-level technical and operational leadership to CM teams.
• Mentor, coach and develop construction managers, resident engineers, inspectors and project engineers.
• Manage QA/QC programs and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Develop client relationships with TxDOT, municipalities and regional authorities and contribute to pursuit strategies.
