Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE license preferred but not required; certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Reliability Engineering are a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in equipment design, selection, and commissioning for manufacturing or industrial facilities.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, plant layout, and equipment integration.
• Familiarity with project management and equipment installation.
• Experience with AS9100 standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, conveyors).
• Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API, OSHA, NFPA).
• FEA/CFD experience preferred.
• Understanding of machining, welding, casting, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with automation systems and robotics, lean manufacturing, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with DoD Instruction 4145.26m (preferred).
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with design and simulation software; ERP systems for procurement and inventory.
