Job summary

Lapin Law Group in Texas invites applications for IMMEDIATE openings for attorneys admitted to practice in Texas, to work part-time and semi-remotely from their residence. The firm seeks solo practitioners who want additional work while avoiding extra marketing or back-office responsibilities.

Ideal candidates are capable of serving as Lead Counsel in civil and administrative matters, and may work from home or any suitable location with in-person appearances as needed.

Qualifications

• Be licensed by the Texas State Bar, in good standing.
• Reside in a Texas county/geographic area listed
• Possess the knowledge and experience to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Be responsible and professional
• Possess superior legal research and writing skills
• Possess oral advocacy and courtroom skills
• Be willing and able, if needed, to serve as lead counsel in litigation matters

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Counsel in matters in Texas District, County, and Justice courts, in civil and administrative matters.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attend in-person appearances when required (court appearances, depositions, etc.).
• Provide client-service oriented representation and reliability.
