Job summary

Magrym Consulting, Inc. seeks a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in Texas to lead field and office teams from project kick-off to delivery.

You will coordinate field crews, review plats and legal descriptions, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure compliance with state licensing and local regulations.

Candidates should have at least 6 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD, and a valid Texas RPLS license. Benefits include health, dental, 401k, PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas RPLS license required.
• 6+ years of land surveying, civil engineering, or PM experience.
• Familiarity with boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM surveys.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of platting and permitting processes; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: scoping, scheduling, field coordination, deliverable review.
• Serve as primary client contact with regular status updates.
• Coordinate with survey crews and CAD staff to align field and office work.
• Review survey data, plats, and legal descriptions for accuracy before delivery.
• Track project budgets, invoicing milestones, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with licensing boards and local regulations; utility coordination (811).
• Manage project documentation, permits, and easement research.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and resource needs across active projects.
• Support proposal/bid preparation for new projects.
