Job Overview

The role requires the candidate to be the driver of new business and lead excellence in execution within the State of Texas.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Contract Management: Drive sales to APTIM's existing USACE and GLO Contracts, establishing a pathway to beat our fair share calculation of work on existing IDIQs and MSAs.
- Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of proposals for Task Orders on existing contracts drive APTIM to new contract opportunities, capture, and win.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for USACE, GLO, and Other Federal and State Agencies within Texas.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new contract opportunities within Texas that fit APTIM's past performance strengths.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Masters Degree or PE (Professional Engineer in The State of Texas) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the Civil works market, with specific experience in the Texas market for 10 years preferred.
- This position requires strong personal skills and relationships to increase APTIM's position within Texas. Existing relationships should be in place, the candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new representatives and clients on behalf of APTIM.
- Skills: Strong technical capability in engineering, strong intrapersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships in the market.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to navigate complex contract requirements and resolve issues effectively.
