Food Management Search, Inc. is assisting a Texas-licensed attorney role in civil litigation and creditors' rights with a heavy courtroom focus.

The attorney will represent clients, attend hearings, and manage case details across an assigned territory. You will work with an experienced legal and administrative team, handle settlements, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas law license required.
• Experience in civil litigation procedures.
• Ability to independently manage court appearances and multiple hearings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within an assigned territory.
• Proficiency with MS Office and legal software/case management systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings in Texas.
• Independently handle courtroom appearances and advocate in civil litigation and collection matters.
• Review and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and related documents.
• Evaluate case details and determine litigation strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and other parties.
• Oversee cases to progress through litigation efficiently.
• Collaborate with clients, staff, and opposing counsel on status and resolution.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet court deadlines.
