Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking Texas-certified teachers to join our Live Learning Platform as remote tutors. This role lets you set your own schedule, teach online one-on-one, and earn competitive rates from home.

You'll deliver aligned instruction for K-12 subjects, diagnose student gaps, adapt pacing, and use our AI Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions. We handle payments; you invoice for sessions.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate (Required) with TEA verification.
• Deep knowledge of K-12 curriculum and TEKS standards.
• Experience teaching in a Texas classroom setting; ability to connect concepts to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Diagnose gaps, adjust pacing, and adapt instruction to student needs.
• Instruct using multiple methods to meet learning styles.
• Communicate effectively with students and families through the platform.
