Job summary

Lone Star Materials, a specialized trucking company and subsidiary of Lone Star Paving, seeks a CDL Truck Driver to support heavy highway and civil projects across Texas. The successful candidate will transport equipment and materials, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a Texas Class A/B CDL with a clean record, DOT compliance, and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• CDL (Texas Class A or B) license with clean record is required.
• Must meet DOT employment requirements.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse clearance required.
• Minimum of 2 years trucking experience.
• Must be organized with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Be positive, friendly, and professional.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one‑on‑one setting.
• Commit to safety policy and promote safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment and/or materials to various job locations.
• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment are in good working order.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance, inspections, and fuel/fluids checks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Familiar with Texas area roadways and trucking operations.
• Complete trip tickets and paperwork; track time and travel.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and company standards.
• Log and perform routine maintenance as needed.
