Redwood Smoke Shack is expanding to a new location and seeks a Pit Hand / BBQ Cook to join a hardworking team in Suffolk, VA. If you are passionate about Texas-inspired BBQ and dedicated to quality, this role offers full-time hours, regular Sundays off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be culinary professional with a passion for food and barbeque.
• Be articulate and able to listen and communicate effectively.
• Have at least 3 years experience in high volume kitchens.
• Have the ability to scale recipes up or down by multiplying and dividing fractions and converting units of measurement.
• Be able to self-manage, prioritize tasks and plan out your shift accordingly.
• Possess an excellent work ethic and desire to learn and continually grow.
• Have reliable transportation.
