Job summary

AX9 Security, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Guard in Dallas, TX. The role involves access control, enforcing client policies, safety monitoring, routine patrols, and reporting incidents to management.

You must hold a valid Armed Guard Permit and a valid Security Guard Permit. Indoor/outdoor work in varying temperatures, with a flexible Full-Time/Part-Time schedule and up to 50% travel, is required. AX9 is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Valid Armed Guard Permit.
• Valid Security Guard Permit.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Previous experience as an armed guard desirable.

Responsibilities

• Access Control: Manage entry for guests and customers.
• Policy Enforcement: Uphold client and company policies and procedures.
• Safety Monitoring: Observe and report fire and safety hazards.
• Patrol Duties: Conduct routine foot patrols around buildings and grounds.
• Incident Reporting: Communicate pertinent issues to the operations manager, clients, and other department managers.
• Public Interaction: Engage with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the public.
• Report Writing: Document incidents and observations accurately.
• Additional Duties: Carry out other assigned tasks as needed.
