Job summary

Green Coyote Cantina Avondale is seeking an Experienced Line Cook to help launch our new location in Avondale Estates, GA. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen developing Tex-Mex classics with strict recipe adherence and strong teamwork.

We offer $17.00–$20.00 per hour, flexible scheduling, dining benefits, ongoing culinary development, and opportunities for advancement within our growing restaurant group. Candidates must demonstrate reliability and a passion for quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant kitchen.
• Tex-Mex culinary experience a plus.
• Commitment to following recipes, build sheets, and company specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, build sheets, and presentation standards
• Work multiple stations
• Ensure every plate meets company standards for quality, consistency, appearance, and portioning
• Execute proper line setup, stocking, and station organization before every shift
• Maintain ticket times while producing high-quality food during busy service periods
• Complete line checks, temperature logs, and station checklists as required
• Follow all Health Department regulations, SERV Safe guidelines, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards
• Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products
• Assist with prep production and daily kitchen responsibilities as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready workstation throughout every shift
• Communicate effectively with kitchen leaders, fellow cooks, and Front of House team members
• Support opening, running, and closing kitchen responsibilities
• Assist wherever needed to support the success of the Back of House team
