Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Test Project Engineer to lead aerospace and industrial testing programs. You’ll turn open-ended customer requests into test plans, design setups, and drive projects from quote through final results.

The role requires 5+ years in testing or mechanical engineering, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. You’ll oversee budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination while mentoring technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in testing, automotive, or similar industry experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead test projects from quote to final results.
• Design mechanical and electrical test setups and guide related systems.
• Develop detailed quotes and BOMs; review contracts for each project.
