Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Estimating Assistant in Indianapolis, IN. This role supports the manufacturing department with sourcing, estimating, and key purchases, building quotes to reflect true scope and meet customer deadlines.

You will gather vendor pricing, review bills of materials, and work with the Manufacturing Department Manager to ensure accurate, timely estimates and budgets. This is a full-time, first-shift position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented with numbers and data.
• Experience with vendors and pricing for cost optimization is a plus.
• Self-directed and able to meet deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate estimates for machined components and assemblies.
• Gather pricing from multiple vendors and outsideProcess pricing.
• Read bills of material to identify required processes.
• Review historical quotes and budgets to sharpen estimates.
• Enter quote data in Epicor and track customer due dates.
