Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Testing Coordinator to support the testing group’s administrative needs, including time tracking, contractor invoice approvals, and documentation control.

This role requires close interface with Testing Team, Operations, Quality, Project Management, and Subcontractors to keep programs on schedule and compliant. You will maintain resource utilization reports, coordinate test dates with published schedules, and streamline processes to boost productivity.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in business administration or accounting desired; work experience may substitute.
  • 3–5 years in fabrication, manufacturing, construction or EPC industries; 7 years in office administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Weekly time tracking for internal/external resources.
  • Maintain testing resource utilization vs budget reports.
  • Coordinate test dates with Operations teams and published schedules.
  • Maintain schedule of planned/testing needs; identify resource gaps early.
  • Verify and upload test documentation to correct locations.
  • Process subcontractor bids and coordinate PO issuance.
  • Review and approve sub-contractor invoices.

Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The role of the Testing Coordinator is to support the testing group’s administrative needs. This includes approving and tracking internal and external time, contractor invoice approvals, support schedule coordination with other groups, and testing documentation tracking. The position requires close interface with Testing Team, Operations, Quality, Project Management and Subcontractors.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Weekly Time tracking and Reporting for Internal and External resources
  • Maintain testing resource utilization vs budget reports
  • Collaborate with Operations teams and confirm upcoming test dates align with Published Schedules
  • Maintain the schedule of planned and anticipated test needs to ensure resource gaps are identified as soon as possible
  • Verify Test documentation is completed and uploaded to appropriate locations
  • Issue Final Testing Punchlist to OPM, PM and SPM teams for field remediation.
  • Solicit subcontractor bids and coordinate alignment for PO issuance
  • Submit Purchase Requisitions and expedite issuance
  • Review, confirm and approve sub-contractor invoices
  • Add/remove users from ACC Platform to ensure all Testing Team members have access.
  • Develop and implement efficient administrative processes and procedures for the Testing Team
  • Streamline workflows to enhance productivity
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations
  • Contribute to the development and updating of departmental policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned by TAS.
JOB SKILLS:

EDUCATION & TRAINING:
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or accounting program desired.
  • Work Experience will be considered in lieu of Associate’s Degree.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-5 years in the fabrication, manufacturing, construction or EPC industry
  • 7 years experience in office administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience working in Modular Rotating Equipment/Systems Industry
  • Strong experience with MS Power Apps and databases
  • VBA (MS Word, Excel, Outlook Macro) Programming Experience highly desirable
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud(ACC)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The position is at least 90% to 95% at a desk working with computers. Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Performs other physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions. Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision necessary to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate a computer terminal, and conduct extensive reading. The incumbent will be subject to inside environmental conditions. Occasional shop activities may include visits to fabrication/assembly shops or the field where heavy fabrication activities are ongoing. Appropriate PPE to be worn during shop and/or field visits.
