Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a hands-on Quality Automation Tester to design, develop and execute automation across web and mobile, API and backend systems in an Agile environment. The role requires ownership, collaboration with client and delivery teams, and delivering high-quality releases.

You will build and maintain automation frameworks using Mabl, Selenium, and Appium, and perform API and data validation.

Qualifications

• 8 years of Quality Engineering Automation Testing experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Selenium automation experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Appium Mobile Automation experience.
• Strong API and SQL testing skills.
• Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Mabl, Selenium and Appium.
• Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute API test cases using Postman and REST Assured.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups and releases.
• Analyze automation failures, identify root causes and drive resolution with dev teams.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and drive quality improvements.

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Automation Tester with strong expertise in web and mobile test automation

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and executing automation solutions across web mobile API and backend systems while ensuring high quality releases in an Agile environment

The role requires strong technical depth ownership and the ability to work directly with client and delivery teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Mabl Selenium and Appium
• Perform functional regression integration and end-to-end testing
• Develop and execute API test cases using Postman REST Assured or equivalent tools
• Validate backend data using SQL queries
• Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming daily standups and release activities
• Analyze automation failures identify root causes and drive resolution with development teams
• Collaborate with developers product owners business analysts and client stakeholders
• Contribute to test strategy test planning and continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned deliverables and proactively drive quality improvements

Experience:

• Strong API and SQL testing skills
• Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks

Success Criteria:

• Demonstrate strong hands‑on automation capability
• Explain framework architecture and implementation concepts
• Showcase practical knowledge of Selenium Appium API testing and SQL
• Take ownership of testing deliverables with minimal supervision
• Effectively communicate with both delivery and client stakeholders

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.48/hour - $50.74/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
