Alstom in New Jersey is seeking a full-time Product Introduction Technician based in Kearny to support installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of cutting-edge rail systems and equipment.

In this role, you will collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and customers, perform equipment testing, failure analysis, and field modifications while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

  • Technician degree or equivalent technical certification.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical or field support role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on electromechanical experience.
  • Familiarity with field testing tools, equipment, and procedures.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support during installation, testing, and operational phases
  • Investigate and resolve electromechanical failures
  • Develop, execute, and document test procedures
  • Use specialized tools for field maintenance and modifications
  • Support warranty operations and customer recovery activities
  • Report deviations immediately and uphold all HSE requirements

Your Future Role

Take on a new challenge and bring your technical expertise to the forefront of sustainable mobility. Reporting the Hiring Manager, you'll work alongside passionate, motivated, and skilled teammates. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of our cutting-edge rail systems and equipment.

Day to day, you'll collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure smooth field operations and warranty support. You’ll be responsible for equipment testing, failure analysis, and field modifications—always ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

What You'll Do

Salary Range: $40‑$43 per hour.
