Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a highly experienced Tester to ensure mission-critical systems are always available. You will develop and apply quality control methods, execute comprehensive test plans, and contribute to evaluating hardware, software and documentation to prevent issues before deployment.

Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS or equivalent, 10+ years of relevant testing experience, ISTQB SAFe certifications, and hold TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

• ISTQB Certified Tester; SAFe for Teams recommended.
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure QA standards in a large computer-based organization.
• Develops and executes software test plans to identify software problems and their causes.
• Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and documentation.
• Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at predefined points throughout the development life cycle.

HOW THE TESTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization. Develops and executes software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation. Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.

• Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
