The tester ensures all records are kept and confers with appropriate resources when issues arise.**Responsibilities:*** Comply with the company and site safety and quality policies, processes, and procedures* Maintain clean work environment and comply with 5S standards* Follow and complete established procedures, processes, and policies* Use standard work, programs, and work instructions to test all products, models, and/or subassemblies* Interpret schematics and drawings to properly test all products* Troubleshoot and document all product, models, and/or subassemblies appropriately to meet quality standards* Perform minor repairs per work instruction/standard work within takt time; refer major repairs to appropriate resources* Collaborate on improving processes, lead times, productivity and cost using the DTZ process* Obtain and renew safety certification as needed to properly move and/or test all products, models, and/or subassemblies* Additional duties as assigned including flexing to other departments**Requirements:*** High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and/or wiring in a manufacturing environment* Effective written and verbal communication skills* Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills to implement appropriate countermeasures* Intermediate PC; knowledge* Understand testing process* Perform basic reading and math functions* Perform basic manufacturing assembly skills* Work in a team environment effectively* Model positive and professional work ethic**Physical Demands**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
