Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking an Electrical Equipment Tester to perform testing and final inspection of refrigeration product lines. You will interpret wiring on racks, perform checks, and ensure documentation for files is complete in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include using testing gauges and OHM meters, following safety rules, and collaborating with teams to resolve issues. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical experience, NEC knowledge and code skills preferred for some product areas.
• Must be able to test CO2 units with minimal assistance.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and legends.
• Must have knowledge of required processes and procedures within the department.
• Must be able to work with all levels of employees.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have a basic understanding of refrigeration flow systems.
• Must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by production needs.

• Depending upon the tester position, previous experience in leak testing, electrical, mechanical or a combination of is required
• Prior experience with testing equipment
• Working understanding of lean concepts
• Must have knowledge of required processes and procedures within the department
• Must have at least of two year of experience testing
• Must be able to work with all levels of employees
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have a basic understanding of refrigeration flow systems
• Must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by production needs
