Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Test Technician in Lafayette, CO to execute software, hardware, and system verification tests, document results, and support test tool setup in a regulated environment.

You will manage laboratory equipment, calibrations, and inventories, read engineering drawings, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive product development and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of laboratory/testing experience.
• Experience executing test procedures and documenting results.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience maintaining, calibrating, or managing laboratory and test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Prior lab management, hardware testing, or prototype testing experience preferred.
• Experience within medical devices, healthcare technology, or other regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executing software, hardware, and system verification test protocols and documenting results.
• Managing laboratory equipment, inventory, calibration schedules, and documentation.
• Supporting testing activities by maintaining, validating, and troubleshooting test tools and equipment.
• Working from engineering drawings, schematics, procedures, and technical instructions.
• Supporting equipment setup, shipping, receiving, and traceability activities.
• Collaborating with engineering and cross‑functional teams to support product development and testing needs.
• Identifying process improvements and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and documentation standards.
