Job summary

Sigma Design Inc is seeking a Test Technician II to join our in-office team in Redmond or Kirkland, WA. The role involves owning testing tasks, documenting procedures, and working with engineers to optimize test methods.

Strong attention to detail and proficiency with lab equipment are required. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in product development or manufacturing test, plus solid communication in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year STEM diploma preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant work in product development or manufacturing test.
• Good English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with standard test equipment and Windows/MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Document and implement test processes and schedules independently.
• Follow test guidelines and analyze results with predetermined parameters.
• Run defined tests and provide observations for failure analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine procedures.
• Own testing tasks with focus on quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate basic testing operations across technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic calibrations on test equipment.
• Document results in multiple formats and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide feedback on discrepancies to Test Engineers.
• Evaluate results against parameters on first pass.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly using hand tools.
• Communicate test status to clients when directed.
• Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data.
