The Toro Company’s HammerHead division in Lake Mills, WI is seeking a Test Technician II. This role collaborates with design engineers to develop test plans, assemble prototype equipment, and analyze results for reliability of HammerHead products.

You will work across lab and field tests, support data acquisition systems, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives. Qualified candidates have a technical degree or equivalent, hands-on experience with data acquisition, and strong

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years as a mechanical/electrical technician.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 2+ years in a related role.
• Experience with data acquisition devices such as LabVIEW and SoMat.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• CIPP, electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic experience a plus.
• Knowledge of 12V, 24V, and 110V electrical systems.
• Basic machining and welding aptitude a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core team member on new product development teams.
• Collaborate with design engineers to develop and execute test plans (lab and field).
• Assemble and develop prototype equipment.
• Design and develop test fixtures and analyze results.
• Assist in selecting data acquisition equipment for lab and field tests.
• Develop concepts involving CIPP, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and structural systems.
• Develop and debug electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical prototypes.
• Perform other tests as assigned by design personnel or supervisor.
• Stay updated on industry and market standards for Hammerhead products.
• Make recommendations on facilities, equipment, personnel, and training needs.
• Meet or exceed expectations for creativity, production, quality, and safety.
• Interact with customers testing prototypes and provide product knowledge for issue resolution.
• Participate in quality initiatives and training as needed.
