Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Test Technician 1 in Mankato, MN. The role focuses on production prepping of gaseous and diesel generator sets for test bays, with involvement in setup and teardown as needed.

You will support testing activities, data collection, and safety adherence in a fast-paced environment. We value hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical assembly and the ability to follow procedures precisely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in assembly operations.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute setup and preparation of generator sets for testing, including fluids, controllers, fuel lines, batteries, exhaust, and data cables.
• Conduct functional testing of generator set accessories and validate performance to specifications.
• Operate advanced test equipment to enter, retrieve, and analyze data with accurate documentation.
• Communicate test status and results to internal teams to support workflow and issue resolution.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols during testing.
