The position is entry-level; learn quickly, multi-task, and communicate with supervisors and customers. Extended hours may be required; basic tools and computer skills are essential.

Job description

Test Technician:
This is a hands‑on role that primarily involves setting up and performing tests, as part of either durability or safety
teams.
Technicians work on projects from start to finish which involves:

• Interpreting technical specifications
• Accurately preparing and setting up test articles and fixtures/vehicles (requires kneeling and heavy lifting)
• Evaluating the performance of test articles using measurements and sensors
• Documenting detailed test procedures
• Communicating with supervisors and customers in a clear and timely manner
• Organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure all deadlines are met
• Extended hours may be required due to test schedules

Other responsibilities may include:

• Monitoring and maintaining test equipment
• Collaborating with other facilities to maintain consistent operating practices and introduce improvements throughout the company

This is an entry‑level position. Successful applicants will be able to learn quickly and sometimes work
independently. This is a fast‑paced environment that requires multi‑tasking and communication. All the tasks are
hands‑on and requires a basic level of mechanical skills.
