Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a entry-level Test Technician in Las Vegas to support circuit, component, instrument, and mechanical Assembly testing.

You will develop test specifications from drawings, perform rework after testing, and prepare technical reports on results. This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and basic failure analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Typically less than one year of related experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Assist in developing test specifications from outlined written requirements, procedures, blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Complete rework on assemblies or systems as a result of testing.
• Prepare technical reports documenting test activities and results.
• Assist with the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment as assigned.
• Read, understand, and follow written test procedures.
• Review test procedures and support basic failure analysis.
• Perform routine assignments requiring limited judgment and expedite issues outside established procedures.
• Work effectively within a team environment and follow detailed work instructions.
