Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Central Virginia is seeking a Test Technician 4 to join our production and manufacturing operations. The role focuses on applying electronics principles to fabricate, test, and troubleshoot complex components, assemblies and systems, and to perform acceptance tests.

Chosen candidates will work on 1st or 2nd shift with a shift differential; a current clearance is not required to apply, but a Secret clearance is required to start and program clearances may follow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of fabrication and test experience.
• Must have experience with electronics principles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance and program clearance.
• Secret clearance is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Apply electronics principles in fabrication, test, and troubleshooting of components, assemblies, devices, circuits and systems.
• Perform acceptance test procedures to verify equipment function.
• Set up, calibration and operation of complex test equipment and facilities over a broad technology spectrum.
• Measure, collect and record electrical performance data and prepare complete test reports.
• Assist engineers in developing test specifications and revision notices from diagrams and schematics.
• Integrate software and hardware through debugging and maintain peripherals and networks.
