Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Technician 2 to support production and manufacturing operations at our Central Virginia facility. The role involves applying electronics principles to fabricate, test, and troubleshoot components, devices, circuits and systems, and to perform acceptance test procedures.

Chosen candidates will work on diverse test environments, with potential shift differential and relocation assistance. A current clearance is not required to apply to and interview for this job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years in fabrication and test of complex components.
• Experience with electronics principles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply electronics principles to fabrication, test, and troubleshooting of components and systems.
• Perform acceptance test procedures to verify equipment function.
• Calibrate and operate complex test equipment.
• Record data and prepare test reports.
• Troubleshoot systems and repair defective areas.
• Program and verify devices.
• Adapt to changing assignments.
