Job summary

Milwaukee Electronics seeks a Test Technician to perform functional and system-level tests across production stages. The role supports troubleshooting, device characterization, and quality adherence. On-site work is essential with clean, organized procedures and a focus on safety.

You will train junior technicians, interpret schematics, and collaborate with engineering to improve test coverage and processes. IPC competencies and hands-on testing expertise are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 6-12 months related experience or training.
• 2-5 years hands-on experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot PCBAs to component level with diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication to train junior technicians and collaborate with engineering.
• Read and understand English for documentation.
• Basic math and data interpretation skills.
• Read and comprehend varied instructions.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Test & inspect products at various stages of the production process. Can work M - F 1st, 2nd or combo. Flexible start time for this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and/or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot PCBAs to thecomponentlevel using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Effective communication skills to train junior technicians and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• The ability to read, speak, & understand English to enable clear communication & comprehension of documentation.
• Basic math skillsrequiredto add, subtract, multiply & divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists; to interpret a variety of instructionsfurnishedin written, oral,diagramor schedule form.
• Able to perform basic data entry transactions.

CERTIFICATIONS

• IPC-A-610 Certification (Class 2 or higher)-Required
• J-STD-001- Preferred
• Mustachieve a passing score on IPC Component Identification course.
• Must achieve a passing score on IPC Workmanship Standards course.
