Job summary

Signia Aerospace, located in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a Test Technician to perform functional and performance testing on helicopter hoists and cargo winches. This on-site role operates Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm and offers a union contract with starting pay of $25.00 per hour.

You will inspect parts, adjust test setups, and ensure adherence to quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. A background check and FAA drug test are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with minimum 1 year aerospace or automotive industry experience.
• Graduation from an aerospace or automotive technical program can substitute for experience.
• U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or approved refugee/asylee).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed test instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA is one of the world’s leading providers of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters.

Position Overview

Location: Anaheim, CA (On-site)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay: $25.00 per hour

This is a union position covered under a collective bargaining agreement.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour per the union contract.

The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and an FAA-regulated drug test is required.

The Test Technician will be responsible for performing functional and performance testing of helicopter hoists and cargo winches, ensuring conformance to blueprint specifications and adherence to quality standards. In this role, you will utilize hand tools and equipment for test adjustments, inspect parts and products for quality, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Who You Are

• This position requires the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to complete inspection reports and understand safety and quality standards.
• High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1 year of Aerospace or Automotive industry experience. Graduation from an Aerospace or Automotive technical program can substitute for experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed test instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
