Job description

Our client is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to support the testing, configuration, and final validation of advanced instrumentation prior to shipment. This role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work hands‑on with electronic assemblies and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, calibrate, and perform final tests on systems to meet specifications for trace substance identification across multiple product models.
  • Use sophisticated software programs to collect, evaluate, and adjust system operating data.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting protocols to resolve issues with non-conforming units.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to address technical challenges and quality concerns.
  • Assist in developing or refining manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Perform electromechanical assembly work within a manufacturing cell environment as needed.
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards.

  • Follow company Code of Ethics and report any quality issues to management to support corrective actions.
  • Adapt to changing duties or assignments as business needs evolve.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in instrument configuration, calibration, and testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure, calibrate, test, and repair complex scientific instruments.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to correct advanced manufacturing defects using appropriate software tools.
  • Proficiency with test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and other electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagnostic data and apply findings to technical tasks.
  • Flexibility to support multiple assignments based on production demand.
  • Ability to work in a clean, contaminant‑free environment using gloves during testing.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
