Position Title: Test Technician

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, Full- Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems to ensure they meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Acceptance testing activities for one or more product lines per released procedures
- Adapts to different test levels from lower-level Assemblies (Digital, Analog and RF) to box and system level.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans from Engineering to perform routine testing, check-out and troubleshooting functions of a simple nature.
- Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications.
- Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to component level.
- Conducts defined tests and collects data as assigned.
- Able to work with PCs and applications such as Windows and other related software.
- Assist with companywide tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of testing equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze test results
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift to 25 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
