Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking Mechanic- Test Technician to join our facility in Redmond, WA. In this role, the \"Mech Tech\" selects, sets up and operates mechanical, electro-mechanical, electro-hydraulic and electro-pneumatic systems and related equipment for purpose of testing liquid propellant rocket engines and devices. Includes setting up and operating liquid feed systems and high pressure nitrogen gas systems.
In our Redmond, WA, site (Seattle area), we fabricate, assemble, and test chemical and electric thrusters, as well as small scale propulsion systems. Our electric propulsion systems enable a wide variety of missions from the exploration of our solar system to global communication and the surveillance of severe weather and wild fires.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
