Job summary

Element Materials Technology in Minneapolis is seeking a Test Technician to perform routine and non-routine testing under supervision. You will prepare specimens, run tests to customer specifications, and ensure timely, accurate results while upholding safety and company policies.

This role requires at least a HS diploma or GED and 2 years in a testing field, with basic algebra/geometry skills and strong data recording capabilities; growth within a global testing network is offered.

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Salary: $24- $35/hr DOE

Skills / Qualifications

• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed

Physical Demands:

• Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)
• Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasion
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
