Job summary

Our Actuation facility in Chanhassen, MN is looking for a Production Test Technician to join their team! You will be responsible for following process instructions to assemble and test components of company’s products.

This position provides a challenging and dynamic work environment. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $24.00 to $28.00 with a temperature-controlled facility and strong emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred but not required.
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Experience with set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies is an asset.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• With supervision, applies established principles and procedures to perform standard, routine technical activities relating to the manufacture and test of client products, in a frequently highly time-sensitive environment.
• Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from a variety of blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Hourly rate: $24.00 to $28.00

Your Challenge
