Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader for Test Technicians to drive technician capability and repair discipline on the shop floor. The role emphasizes leading technical teams, improving troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth work center execution in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have an Associate’s Degree in electronics technology with 2+ years in manufacturing/test environments and experience in progressions, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree with 2 years’ experience in electronics technology.
Experience in manufacturing, test, repair, troubleshooting, or technical operations environment.
Strong understanding of shop floor execution, work center flow, production priorities, and daily constraints.
Experience developing technical problem-solving in test, repair, rework, fixture support, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

Deploy technician capability across the Monitoring Systems value stream to support repair discipline and troubleshooting effectiveness.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations, Frontline Supervisors, and Engineering teams to align talent to production needs.
Develop technician progression through structured exposure, mentoring, and work center rotation.
Improve downtime recovery, yield, and repair discipline; enhance technician-to-engineering communication.
