Job summary

Advance Staffing Solutions (The Advance Group) is seeking Test Support Technicians for a global solar panel manufacturer in Perrysburg, Ohio. You will be responsible for loading/unloading, setting up tooling, performing tests, and documenting data in a fast-paced R&D environment.

The role requires electronics experience or a 2-year engineering/electronics degree, proficiency with Word/Excel, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Team-focused and safety-minded individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug test and background check and vision test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/repeat tasks for long periods.

Amazing opportunity to join a global leader in Solar Panel manufacturing! We are looking for hard-working manufacturing employees with experience in electronics. The sky is the limit for employees like you! The Advance Group has partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Perrysburg, Ohio who is looking for Test Support Technicians in their Research and Development department. Technicians are responsible for running test and documenting data for solar panel research.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading machines with large solar panels
• Setting up tooling and operating various machines
• Perform testing on solar panels
• Use digital calipers and other measuring devices to measure glass breakages
• Troubleshoot tool/process issues and implement system improvement to achieve performance goals
• Visually inspecting solar panels and document any changes or problems with the process
• Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to document data that was discovered during the testing phase
• Safely clean and move materials and broken glass if needed
• Notify supervisor of any machine malfunctions or glass breakage

Requirements

• Experience with electronics or a 2yr degree in engineering, electronics, or similar
• Excellent attendance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Quality inspection experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check and vision test
• Ability to work well in a small team
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Must be able to use hands to grasp, carry, lift, and feel objects as required
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Ability to stand, bend, and do repetitive lifting
• Safety first mindset
• Must have access to a smartphone to use the company’s mobile timekeeping system

Shift and Pay

1st shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Voluntary overtime offered on occasion. Pay: $25/hr
